Summary:

In 2024, Team 461 aimed to build upon the remarkable success of their previous season by engineering their most technologically advanced robot yet. Their aspirations manifested triumphantly at the Mishawaka District event, where they showcased their prowess by leading an alliance through the playoffs to secure their 4th event victory in team history. At the Plainfield event, although they experienced an early exit, they departed with recognition, having been selected as the number 1 overall pick.

Their journey continued at the Indiana State Championship, where Team 461 once again asserted their dominance by securing the top rank and captaining the first seed alliance to a commendable 3rd place finish. Notably, they also received their first State Engineering Inspiration award, a testament to their innovative engineering prowess and positive impact on the community. With consecutive top-ranked finishes in the district for two seasons, Team 461 earned their ticket back to the World Championship.

At the World Championship, competing in the Galileo division, Team 461 maintained their impressive performance, culminating in a commendable 5th place finish. This continued success solidified their reputation as a formidable force in the world of robotics, reaffirming their status as a team to watch in future competitions.
