Website Subteam

The website subteam, generally consisting of a small group of people, builds and maintains the team website. In addition, members outside of this subteam are able to contribute to the website by writing articles and essays, taking pictures, gathering information, and recording video. Scouting

Scouting database interface

As the build season draws to a close, the website team takes the responsibility of leading Westside Boiler Invasion's scouting efforts. After working with the Technical subteam to develop strategy predictions and develop criteria, the Website subteam develops a system to efficiently collect and analyze data. At the end of the season, scouts from the Website and Technical subteam are trained for the imminent build season. When possible, preliminary data and robot pictures are gathered from competition webcasts and websites such as The Blue Alliance or Chief Delphi, respectively. Visit our 2005 scouting page to see a sample of our work. In the 2005 season, WBI 461 was awarded a Spirit Award at the Cleveland Regional for setting up online access to our scouting database, the Boiler Online Scouting System (BOSS).
